DeSales Scholars Series “Suicide Prevention”

Wednesday, Sept. 22 • 12 Noon
Attend Live at the DeSales University Center or Live Virtually on Zoom

Whether you have struggled with suicidal thoughts or have lost a loved one to suicide, know you are not alone. Hear from a local chapter member of the American Foundation of Suicide Prevention (AFSP) and committee members for the annual Out of the Darkness Campus Walk on the importance of awareness and advocacy for suicide prevention. Sobering statistics and facts about suicide in our society will be shared along with a panel discussion on how the Out of the Darkness Walk got started at DeSales and the impact it has had on our community and other Lehigh Valley campus communities.  Members from the DeSales’ Counseling Center will be available during this presentation.
