Hypothesis: Collaborative Annotation Tool
The general idea for Hypothesis is to get students to more deeply engage with texts (or other material you can get on a screen). Some of the use cases are annotating works of literature, journal articles, and world language texts. A practical application is that with Hypothesis instructors can find out who is doing the readings you assign and who isn’t. It is one of those tools where once you see it you might come up with some great applications in your discipline that I would never have thought of.
